About Us

Our purpose for Performance Avenues 2.0™ is to discover our God-given gifts and talents and help make ourselves and our companies and organizations more effective and efficient. Years of experience in business, research in how people perform at work, feedback from people in various workplaces, and networking with other business consultants have come together to create Performance Avenues™.

The original concept is found in Tom Despard's book, Performance Avenues, Knowing How We Work, which we refer to as Performance Avenues 1.0™. This book is available on amazon.com and other Internet sites. Tom Despard is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and has been a builder and real estate entrepreneur in Pennsylvania for 40 years. He is President of Despard Associates, LLC, founded as a consulting firm in 1998 and the creator of Performance Avenues 2.0™. He has served on many for-profit and not-for-profit boards throughout his career.
